N.O. Geraniaceae.

Short/medium tufted perennial. Leaves cut nearly to the base.

Flowers bright purple/crimson (pink is rare in British Isles.) 25-30 mm. June  - August.

Habitat: Dry grassy places; dunes, usually on lime.
