Castle Heritage Centre and Folk Museum.
This plough is amongst a collection of old agricultural inplements;
painted and preserved, but not restored. Nor is there any indication as
to what they are.
- Clearly a four furrow plough, very narrow and
- The seed box on top, chain driven from the
wheel, drops the seeds down spouts (only the rearmost surviving) into
the furrow bottom.
- For what seeds was it designed?
- How many horses pulled it?
